Decathlon United Industry is dedicated to our industrial engineering domain. Within this division, the BIKES process manages the Design Industrialisation and Purchasing policy for the bicycle components and bikes assembly.

In a context of strong growth and in order to meet the challenges of tomorrow in an increasingly changing and complex world, we are looking to strengthen our team by recruiting a Mechanical Method Engineer.


Within the BIKES Process, your role is to move up the manufacturing value chain of our products and especially bicycle components, contributing to our strategy of expertise which is based on strong sustainable development ambitions as well as the ability to build a global network of highly reliable partners, with a continuous improvement mindset.

You will work in project teams with our Design and Production Engineers in our different component Business Units.

You will be located in B’TWIN Village (Lille 59 FRANCE)

As a lead expert on the Aluminium transformation processes (forging / Die casting / CNC ...) , you are a member of the BIKES Process Technical team.

You will work as a Method Engineer with the following responsibilities:

  • guaranty the implantation of the necessary needs from conception to production
  • support the teams on product / process /project to insure the compliancy between the design requirements and the process capability
  • guarantee the writing, diffusion, application and capitalization of standards & tool
  • propose innovations , make technology watch , develop your expertis
  • work on the optimization of your process / perimete
  • contribute to the industrial strategies of my process / perimeter (Purchase policy, Design policy, panel review, ...
  • write training, I train and I guarantee the competence level of the teams


You have a minimum of 5 years in the industry field
You already have the experience of working with Mechanical Engineers on new product developments.
You are able to drive your projects in an international context (English speaking is mandatory)
